The PI Impact: Research in Medical Devices project is support by C\u00daRAM SFI Research Centre for Medical Devices and is funded by Science Foundation Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This White Paper, which includes a foreword by Prof Abhay Pandit, Scientific Director of C\u00daRAM, provides an overview and analysis of the important and complex role of the PI in medical device research processes and the need to support these scientists to become more impactful in their research activities, and concludes with a set of recommendations in this regard.
